This letter is the Attorney General's order on your
petition for disclosure of records under the Oregon Public
Records Law, ORS 192.410 through 192.505. Your petition, which
we received on October 23, 1989, asks the Attorney General to
order the Motor Vehicles Division (division) to disclose the
name and address of the owner of a specified motor vehicle.
For the reasons that follow, your petition is moot.
After we received your petition, the division reconsidered
your request and disclosed the requested information to you.
Because the division has satisfied your request, your petition
is now moot.
